I picked these 7 Abib skincare products. Have you tried them?

Did you know that you can get Abib skincare products in Singapore? Maybe you do, but I’m more of a hillbilly and had not heard of this Korean brand till I was “exposed” to it a few weeks ago.

Thanks to the media people for giving me the opportunity to find out more about Abib during a launch event at Watsons, Takashimaya.

Let me do my part and pass on this information to you. I’ll also share the 7 Abib products that I picked (and would be trying soon).

Abib: What is this Korean skincare brand?

Abib was launched in 2016 with a goal to help skin “cycle back to its prime”. To do that, Abib skincare aspires to deliver the following:

  • Boost skin’s self-generating power
  • Avoid use of toxic ingredients
  • Slow the aging process
  • Trigger removal of dead skin cells.

I did a simple google search and found its sheet masks to be rather popular as compared to other products that Abib carries. Great that I’d picked three different types of masks to try out – gummy sheet masks, mild acidic pH sheet masks and collagen gel mask.

You learn more about their difference below.

7 Abib products I am eager to try out!

During the media event, I was given the opportunity to choose some Abib products to try out. Let me share what I’ve picked.

1. Abib Pore Cleansing Oil

The first product I chose was Abib Pore Cleansing oil (Heatleaf Oil-wash). Comes in a lightweight pump bottle, this oil contains six types of plant-based natural oils, such as sunflower, jojoba and camelia seed oil.

On top of removing makeup, Abib Pore Cleansing Oil would also be able to eliminate impurities and sebum to offer a deep yet gentle cleansing.

What makes the cleaning oil gentle?

Apparently, the heartleaf extract from mountain Jiri is said to support sensitive skin and sooth irritated and troubled skin. I would be trying Abib Pore Cleaning Oil very soon and will share a review soon.

Now, let’s move on to the next product.

2. Abib Heartleaf Creme

The next product – Abib Heartleaf creme is a face moisturiser which comes in a generous 75ml aluminum tube.

This cream from the heartleaf range is described as a “calming tube” that is suitable for those with sensitive skin.

While I don’t have sensitive skin, I certainly wouldn’t mind the good ingredients – 8 types of hyaluronic acids and ceramide – that would help boost skin’s moisture level.

Abib creme comes in four variants to cater to different skin types. The green tube (Heartleaf range) – as you know – is meant for those with sensitive skin. I’ve also gotten another creme from the hydrating range. Let’s check it out.

3. Abib Hydration Creme

My skin can get dry and dehydrated at times. Hence, I also chose Abib Hydration creme that is said to nourish and hydrate dry skin.

This creme that comes in a white tube contains ingredients such as Niacinamide, macadamia seed oil and coconut oil. Can’t wait to try it!

4. Abib Heartleaf Spot Pad Calming Touch

Honestly, I didn’t know what to make out of Abib Heartleaf Spot Pad. What does it do? When do I use it?

Let’s do a bit of research now.

It seems like such a “spot pad” can be used like a toner or sheet mask to “spot-treat” certain areas of your skin. Since the sample I received was from the Heartleaf range, what it does is to calm sensitive skin.

If you are buying it, the full-sized product comes in a tub and contains 80 pads that you can pick out using a plastic tweezer.

You may also be interested to know that Abib Spot Pad is available in four other variants to cater to different skin needs, such as blemish care, hydrating touch and firming touch.

5. Abib Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask

As shared earlier, Abib offers a few types of sheet masks, each with its own variants. The first type I picked was its “Mild acidic pH sheet mask” that comes in translucent packaging.

This type of sheet masks is said to mimic skin’s pH and hence would not irritate the skin.

The albumin (egg white) and bamboo-fabric mask would tighten when applied and help skin absorb the essence better.

Among its variants, I chose Aqua fit and Jericho rose fit. Here’s how they can help the skin:

  • Aqua fit: Maintains skin’s hydration
  • Jericho rose fit: Provides intense nourishment and moisturization

Next, let’s check out the second type of mask from Abib – the gummy sheet mask.

6. Abib Gummy Sheet Mask Hyaluron Sticker

Made of microfiber, the gummy sheet masks are said to adhere strongly to the skin, offering an “air-tight” effect to deliver essence effectively to the skin.

It is also said to be soft, gentle and safe for those with sensitive skin. Here’s what I chose:

  • Hyaluronic sticker: Moisturising and cooling
  • Collagen milk sticker: Nourishing and improve skin elasticity

Finally, let’s explore the third type of sheet mask from Abib skincare.

7. Abib Collagen Gel Mask

Being the most costly sheet mask among its range, Abib Collagen gel mask contains collagen peptides and is said to boost collagen production and improve skin elasticity.

I chose Sedum Jelly which is made of a plant from Jeju that can “hold plenty of water” and hence, keep the skin hydrated.

So, this makes up the 7 skincare products from Abib that I would be trying out very soon. You can explore its’ other skincare range at Abib’s official website or visit Watsons Takashimaya to check out the products.
