I absolutely love my holy grail Lancome’s Teint Miracle Liquid Foundation. The deep love I have for it got me into buying all things tagged with the “Teint Miracle” branding, one of which is the Teint Miracle Loose Powder.
Lancome Teint Miracle Loose Powder comes in a similarly attractive and elegant packaging, as its popular sister.
Marketed as a loose powder that ‘recreates skin’s inner light’ and ‘provides a sublimely bare and radiant complexion’, it’s no surprise that the powder comes in a shimmery form.
Even after smoothing the powder evenly on my hand, you can still see the slight sparkles.
Why Teint Miracle Loose Powder Fails to Impress
Unlike Teint Miracle Liquid foundation which gave an inner glow that was subtle, and without any obvious sparkling elements, Lancome Teint Miracle Loose Powder went slightly overboard with the shimmers.
1. Highlighted the flaws
The shimmery powder highlighted my imperfections, such as my pores and fine lines.
2. Oily Glow instead of Radiance
Instead of offering radiance, this powder seems to give me an oily glow, which I have been desperately trying to avoid with the use of blotters and shine-free powder.
Someone Else may Love it
My personal preference for a mattified look doesn’t mean that someone else won’t love Lancôme Teint Miracle Loose Powder. In fact, I would imagine someone youthful and/or who has a flawless complexion to be able to carry off the glowy look quite well.
In all fairness, the powder is finely-milled, smooth and of good quality, which makes application really easy. Sadly, it didn’t work for me. Rating: 3/5
