Hi folks, I like to introduce a new brand – Sachelle Collective that offers jewelry for everyday modern women. What appealed to me about the brand was its focus on jewelry that won’t irritate the skin.Â
In the PR email, I like how honesty was part of the promise:
“…this led us to build a brand that can deliver honest quality, conscious jewelry and is safe for skin and the environment.”
Now, let’s see if Sachelle Collective lives up to its promises.Â
About Sachelle CollectiveÂ
Sachelle Collective was founded in 2020 and originated in Hong Kong, with a focus in creating timeless jewelry.Â
With a minimalist nature, the company’s aspiration is to create designs that would make a statement without having to be loud. You can read more about the company here.Â
When I browsed the website, I found most of the jewelry to be 14k gold-plated, with price mostly around S$100.Â
Sachelle Collective Review
For someone who’s used to more fanciful costume jewelries and a lover of white than yellow gold, I wasn’t instantly wowed by the selection when I browsed it online.
However, when the items came, I was happy as they looked good on me.
Ear Rings from Sachelle Collective
I chose a work-appropriate hoop ear ring, that has a freshwater pearl sat on each. The material is made of stainless steel, and plated with 14k gold.Â
Design-wise, I could now understand how Sachelle’s jewelry would make a statement without having to shout about it. The size was just right to be obvious but not too over-the-top. You can see me wearing them as you scroll down further.Â
It’ll definitely be one of my favourite piece for work. You can browse its ear ring selections here.Â
Necklace from Sachelle Collective
Next, let’s look at the necklace I’d picked from their selection. On first impression, I thought the chain was too thin and was also worried that the stones would face the wrong side when resting on my neck.Â
But it turned out that this necklace – similar to my experience with the ear rings – looked great on me.Â
It was minimalist but nice. The stones made of cubic zirconia sat with the right face up when resting on my neck. Also, the length could be adjusted to suit different style, e.g. choker or longer necklace.Â
The subtle design was versatile and I could even have it on a cycling trip without feeling like I needed to take it off. So, I really appreciate this everyday jewelry piece, as I’m too lazy to switch necklace. :)
Is Sachelle Collective safe for skin?Â
I’ve worn the necklace out on a hot day, cycling across the island and did not suffer any irritation. In case you are not aware, I have sensitive skin against cheap metals.Â
In my teenage years, I would often have rash and wet blisters from wearing cheap costume jewelry made of unknown metal. Only silver, gold and rhodium would be fine on my skin.
So, yes. Sachelle Collective is indeed honest in its marketing promises. :)Â The packaging works well as gifts too!Â
That’s all to this brand introduction. Hope you’ve found this post useful, especially when sourcing for allergy-free and minimalistic jewelry that won’t cost a bomb.
