Sounds familiar? You’re right! I’ve reviewed Skinlite Exfoliating Foot Mask a few months back. This time round, I’m bringing you the REAL result, unveiling its real potential.
So what happened to the first review? To be honest, when working on the previous review, I kept thinking why the peeling effect didn’t seem as pronounced as before. I thought my memory was failing me. Not until I tried it again and woah…..the peeling was intensive.
The photo above was only half of the skin that came off my feet. It was quite embarrassing at times. I remember I was shopping at Johor on the 6th or 7th day of peeling. Now, what do you do when you shop at Johor? You buy shoes right, cause the shoes there are so cheap!
A large piece of skin was literally floating off the top of my feet. I didn’t want to peel it off as that may lead to infection. So imagine the shop assistant seeing that piece of skin hanging precariously off my feet. Anyway, it dropped off even before I could make it back to Singapore. So I’m sad to say, that large piece of skin was absent from the above collection.
So, are you ready to check out more gruesome photos?
Warning: Steer clear if you are sensitive to photos of ugly peeling foot. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, alright. *smile*
Ok…you can scroll down now if you really are a fan of my ugly foot. :)

Day 4 (Skinlite Exfoliating Foot Mask)
Ready for more? It’s only gonna get uglier.
Guessed you are really into this. Ok, let me show you a close-up photo.
Day 11 (Skinlite Exfoliating Foot Mask)
By Day 11, the bottom of the feet has completed the peel. The top part of the feet will continue to peel until Day 17.
Before-After (Skinlite Exfoliating Foot Mask) with Socks
Let’s see the transformation this time round.
Two things that might have helped it work better:
- This time round, I wore a fitting pair of socks during the entire application. I didn’t layer with socks during the previous application.
- The previous package might have been a faulty one as it’d leaked even before I cut open the seal. The potency might have been lost as a result. The good thing is that this seldom happens. In fact, that was the first time I’d encountered a leaking sock after more than a few years of usage.
I’d earlier shared a full review of Skinlite Exfoliating Foot Mask, including application instructions and detailed peeling process. So do check it out and learn why this is my holy grail foot mask. Rating: 5/5
If you can only walk away with one thing in mind…
WEAR A FITTING PAIR OF SOCKS! Do note this is not indicated in their instruction, but it’ll definitely help you get the most out of the product.
So new skin for the Chinese New Year? Haha…I think better not. This is not the year of the snake. You can peel after all the visiting is done.

Did the top part of your foot peel as well? I’m trying to scrub off the dead skin on my foot and ankle and I think perhaps the sock will be a great idea! The other idea I thought of was soaking the gel in cotton wool to apply it to areas I need.
Hi Paleorina, yes, the whole feet peeled. The bottom part will come off first though. As the feet needs to come into contact with the liquid for a long period, I do not think you will get maximum benefit if you just apply certain parts with cotton wool. If you are concerned about appearing unsightly, it shouldn’t be too obvious if you are not shopping for shoes. The top part’s peeling wasn’t as thick as those of the bottom. Hope this helps clarify, and happy peeling. :)
Hi! How many times can u use the product in a week? and do you think it’s fine to walk around with socks or sandals after usage?
Hi Geovannie, there’s no official instruction on frequency of usage. I normally use them only when I see calluses forming. This should be a couple of months apart. I do not recommend using it more than once per week, or per month. Yes, it was fine walking with socks or sandals after usage. Do apply sunblock to protect the area from UV rays.
